    Hello Family Law Section members,

On Friday, Jan. 24, NJICLE will present the Friday Evening Program - 2020 Family Law Symposium - Substance Use Disorders in Family Law Cases. The seminar will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Hyatt Regency, New Brunswick. Following the program, join us from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. in the Garden State Ballroom for a Cocktail Party sponsored by Easysoft.

Every family lawyer encounters clients or opposing parties with addiction disorders. A party's substance use can have a significant impact on the outcome of a case, as well as any custody arrangements the parties or a court put in place. Join your colleagues at our Friday night Family Law Symposium and learn how to handle the thorny situations involving clients' substance use disorders. You will hear thoughtful discussions about the complexities of addiction and how it can impact custody, visitation, and the financial aspects of divorce, and how to get your client the help that they need.
