You do have to jump through a few hoops. You'll have to file a complaint in the Law Division to enter judgment on the fee arb award. Include an order to show cause and it will probably be scheduled within a couple of weeks.

Subject: Fee Arb Judgment
I recently obtained a fee arbitration award in my favor. I am attempting to enter a judgment against the former client for the amount awarded and am a little confused as to how to properly proceed.
Rule 1:20A-4 refers me to Rule 4:67 (Summary Actions), which states I have to file a Motion for Order to Proceed Summarily, along with the standard Summons and Complaint. However, I thought there was a simpler way to convert a fee arbitration award to a judgment without having to jump through those hoops. Am I mistaken?
Thanks in advance for your assistance,
