  • 1.  Family Wizard - or similar - reviews?

    Posted 04-18-2016 02:17 PM

Highly contentious postjudgment case with conflicting claims of "she doesn't let the kids speak to me" versus "he's lying - he never called."

I remember seeing at a recent event a program, Family Wizard, that generates documentation on this (and other issues). I think it was about $99.00 per year?

Has anyone used this (or similar)? Any reviews / insights appreciated.

    Thanks,

That's per year, per person.  Works great – for parenting and holiday issues, can put dates on the calendar and then print for exhibits if need be for motions.

    Hi David –

I haven't used it, but have had extensive discussions with the company. What's stopped me in several cases from using Family Wizard was that both sides had to subscribe. On the other hand it can be a platform that all communications go through so can call a halt to the issues you're dealing with.  I recently met the founder of another platform, called Exexpense.com, which can be used by just one person. However Exexpense is only for the financials, not all the communications.

I have a highly contentious case that is using it, and it is working well.  As the professional in the case, I can access the parties' messages to one another and keep track of it.  I like it.

I agree with Siobhan.  It's an excellent tool.  And, the printouts make perfect exhibits.

    Hi David:

As a parenting coordinator, I use OFW and it is very helpful.  Both parties need to allow you to enter their site, but it is quite constructive.
