    On Friday, Jan. 26, NJICLE and the Family Law Section will kick off the 2018 Family Law Symposium with an evening program - Shades of Gray: Seniors and Divorce from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Hyatt Regency, New Brunswick.

    • Considerations to be given in calculating alimony for those approaching retirement age,

    • Proper equitable distribution of retirement assets,

    • Elder abuse and domestic violence, pre-marital agreements for "May-December" marriages, etc.

    New for 2018
    A complimentary cocktail reception, sponsored by LEAP Legal Software, for attorneys and exhibitors will follow the Friday night program.

    The tuition for section members is $157.

    NJ CLE information: This program has been approved by the Board on Continuing Legal Education of the Supreme Court of New Jersey for 2.4 hours of total CLE credit. Of these, 2.4 qualify as hours of credit toward certification in matrimonial law.
    NJ CLE: This program has been approved for 2.4 credits (50 minute hour)
    PA CLE: 2.0 substantive credits pending ($8 fee – separate check payable to NJICLE)
    Matrimonial Law Certification: 2.4 general credits pending
    NY CLE (t&nt): 2.0 professional practice
    CPE: 2.0 taxation credits
    NJAPM: 2.0 credits
