Hello Family Law Section members,
On
Wednesday, Feb. 21, NJICLE in cooperation with the Family Law Section will present
Family Appellate Practice from
5 to 8:35 p.m. at the
New Jersey Law Center. In many family cases, a trial court decision is not the end of the litigation - it is just the beginning. The appeals process is a difficult journey for both the attorney and client. To be successful, you must put together a brief and appendix that is properly assembled, meticulously researched, and concise. You must also deliver your oral argument with ease, clarity, and persuasion.
This practical seminar brings together Supreme Court Justices and members of the Appellate Division to share exactly how family lawyers should to prepare for, and successfully advocate, on appeal.
