<x-tab> </x-tab>If anyone has had experience with Monica Shore, a therapist / evaluator in Burlington County, please let me know. Any offlist responses will be kept confidential.
<x-tab> </x-tab>If it would affect anyone's recommendation to know -- post-judgment FD case. Dad is trying to establish a normalized parenting schedule (not seeking custody). He is in recovery (opiate issues). Mom had substance issues as well and a psych history that led to the child being removed by DYFS for a period of time and placed with Dad's parents a few years ago. Dad then disappeared for a year. Came back to the area after getting clean last fall. Motion to establish parenting schedule was filed almost a year ago.
<x-tab> </x-tab>The level of acrimony from mom and her family is record-breaking / off the charts / astounding. From day one, we'd hoped that it would be low-conflict by making it clear that he's not seeking to change custody but just wants a relationship with his daughter. The toxicity and intensity of the hate toward this guy and his family is inexplicable. There's not even an allegation that he was abusive, just that he vanished (but has now been back over a year).
<x-tab> </x-tab>If it's going to move forward with people focusing on the child, it'll take something of a miracle. Any hope people could give that Monica Shore might assist in making this happen would be appreciated.
