Hi List mates:  I need a referral for an Estate Attorney in Basking Ridge, who is willing to go to an Assisted Living Facility in Basking Ridge to meet with the client. Client is an elderly man, still competent. His former POA (a friend) resigned and his Alternate POA (his sister) lives in Manhattan, and cannot perform the duties. Client needs to revoke existing POA and execute a new POA (I am advised he is competent to sign the POA). He also needs estate planning, and most likely a new Will. Client is in the middle of selling a home in Hardwick (Warren County), New Jersey and he is also in need of a closing attorney who will work with the Estate Attorney and POA and him, to handle the closing issues, and assist with the net proceeds being transferred to his financial accounts, in accordance with his estate planning and needs. It will be helpful if the estate attorney and closing attorney are one and the same or at least in the same firm.
