I have a client who has three children all of which she has custody of from the divorce.  Both parents have been remarried.  Mom is currently separated from her current husband as of October 2015.  Each child has their own back story.

First, now age 25, wanted to go to school, but could not get dad to complete the necessary papers for student loans, which he needed to do as he claimed her.  She subsequently moved out in 2014, then back in in October 2015.  She wants to go to school, but cannot afford it unless dad completes papers.  She currently works part-time.  Thoughts as to her emancipation?

Second, now 22 years old with a progressive degenerative hearing loss.  She completed her GED in 2013, left home until October 2015, all the while Mom was providing her money to assist her in living.  She also wanted to attend college but could not get the information from dad either.  She currently works part-time.  Thoughts on her emancipation?

Third, now 20, with a seizure disorder.  She graduated HS in 2015, but has been admitted into the hospital shortly after graduation for a grand mal seizure and suicidal ideations.  Her last seizure was June 2015. She continues to have follow up with her neurologist.  She wishes to attend college but has not been able to obtain dad's information either.  Thoughts on her emancipation?

I would appreciate any input either her or via telephone you could provide me.  Just not so sure this is a black and white emancipation case.  Thank you in advance.
