    Hello Family Law Section members,

On Saturday, Oct. 21, NJICLE in cooperation with the Family Law Section, Criminal Law Section and Senior Lawyers Committee will present Domestic Violence 2017: A Crash Course at the New Jersey Law Center from 9 a.m. to 12:35 p.m.

Despite increasing public awareness of the brutality and frequency of domestic violence, these devastating acts continue to occur in alarming numbers among all levels of society. In New Jersey, the Prevention of Domestic Violence Act provides the rubric for handling this type of case.

In order to achieve the best outcome for the clients you represent, it is essential that you have a firm understanding of the Act as well as real strategies for handling the many situations that can arise when handling these cases. In one morning, master what might otherwise take weeks to learn.
