Our thriving boutique law practice is hiring a full-time associate, with an emphasis in family law. The work requires excellent written and verbal communication skills, for drafting legal documents, motions, pleadings and preparing Case Information Statements. The work of an associate at our firm also includes engaging with the discovery process, performing legal research, negotiating agreements, representing clients at hearings, trials and in oral argument at court. We often interact with with clients and colleagues in an emotionally-charged context, so the applicant will need to be able to keep his/her cool. We practice primarily in Mercer, Middlesex and Somerset Counties. Applicants must be licensed in New Jersey, have litigation experience, be a fearless advocate, pay attention to detail, and most importantly - be a decent human.
