Good morning to all my fellow Section members:
I am asking for your support to help my partner, Bob Brass, get on the ballot for the position of Secretary of the NJ State Bar Association, in the upcoming 2014 NJSBA election, by signing the attached petition; and, mailing it back to Bob at our office. Let's let the 17,500 plus members decide.
Bob has been a dedicated, active member of the NJ State Bar Association for over twenty (20) years, contributing my time and energy to serve you, the NJSBA membership.
A nominating petition form is attached, hereto. Please take the time to fill it in; and, mail it to our office for submission to the State Bar Association. If you have other attorneys in your office, who are NJSBA members, please have them sign the petition, also. PLEASE NOTE: Due to NJSBA election rules, Bob needs the petitions to have original signature, to be mailed in to him, for him to present to the NJSBA. They will NOT accept faxes or scanned email attachments. Bob must have the petitions by Thursday, March 13, 2014, in order to comply with the NJSBA deadline for submission of petitions (if you cannot mail them to Bob in time, please call our office; and Bob shall try to arrange to pick them up from you. Also, Bob will be at the March 12, 2014 meeting of the Criminal Law Section at the Law Center).
As those of you who know Bob are aware, he is highly dedicated to the NJ State Bar Association and its membership. Please be so kind as to sign and mail in the attached petition; so, that Bob can continue his service to you in the position of Secretary of the NJ State Bar Association. Without your help, Bob cannot get on the ballot to continue my efforts to represent your interests before the New Jersey State Bar Association.
If you would like to know more about Bob Brass, I have attached his resume, along with the Petition form, for your review.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Bob at (973) 337-6626.
Thank you for your courtesy and consideration.
Best wishes,
Brian
