    Need the name(s) and contact info for true neutrals who are reasonable in price, can do the job within the next 50 days and would be joint expert for young divorcing couple with 4 1/2 year old. Thanks.

    The regular players in Mercer that I'm aware of are Dr. Rosenbaum (Bunker Hill), William Campagna, Dr. White (from somewhere south of Mercer).  Also seen Dr. Guerin.  There may be others who regularly come here, but I'm not familiar enough with them to list them here.  None of them are cheap.  All of their rates jumped up a couple of years ago, to where they are now generally more expensive than the attorneys ($10,000+ before a trial-ready report is issued, and then additional retainers required for trial).  And being that most of them have far, far lower overhead, it's become a highly lucrative field.  I've heard grumblings about anti-trust issues and the coincidence of all the rates jumping at the same time (specifically, from $2500 average retainers to $7500), but - whatever, doesn't help with your question.

    Also, slightly more affordable if they're still doing it are Dr. Cooper and Dr. Gordon.

    CNA's (Custody Neutral Assessment) is being used in Mercer, with a flat fee of $1000 (far less detail than a full fledged custody evaluation).
