    Dear All:

As many of you know , April is National  Autism Awareness Month.  For families with children and/or adult members with special needs, Covid-19 has added an extra level of potential challenges which some  families  may need to address on an immediate  or time-sensitive basis. NJICLE has put together a special program entitled COVID -19 and Autism:  Addressing Immediate Issues in an Upside Down World.  This  program runs this Monday, April 20, 2020, from 1:00-3:00 p.m, and features a highly diverse  6 person panel   to address a multitude of legal and social  issues  of  relevance to both intact families and fractured families with  members on the autism spectrum. I am honored to be moderating this special program.   The panel includes Paul Prior, Esq, Francesca O'Caithan Esq, Carmen Diaz-Duncan, Esq, Lisa Parles, Esq, and Cynthia Policastro-Smith who is a longtime  special education teacher  and autism therapist .  This seminar will   be of particular interest  to attorneys, judges, and other professionals who focus to any degree on special needs, family law, school/special education law, probate/surrogate practice, chancery practice, estate planning, disability law, and  general practice  as well.  Hopefully you will be able to attend  online.

The best of continued luck to all in these challenging times.

    Best Regards,
    Lawrence R. Jones
