Couple never married but lived and had a child in NJ. After separation,
Dad moved to Bora Bora (island of French Polynesia) where he plans to
stay. Mother obtained a child support order and Dad now owes over 6 months
of child support arrears due to diminished income. Dad wants to see his 8
year-old son but Mom is denying him visitation based on arrears. Does NJ
have jurisdiction over this case? What options does the father have? What
options does the mother have?
Thanks!
