  • 1.  Child Support

    If a child is younger than 12 at the time of the original order and there is a subsequent modification of living arrangements or parenting time when the new child support is configured do you not use the adjustment for children over the age of 12 if the child is over the age of 12 at the modification. I looked through appendix IX-A but could not find that information

    My understanding is that if the initial child support obligation is calculated when the children are under 12, you do not use it for any subsequent recalculation irrespective of a change in custody.
