As Autism Awareness Month 2019 formally comes to a close today, I want to thank the members of the Bench and Bar for their positive feedback and support of the "Autism and the Law" special series which the New Jersey Law Journal published throughout April in honor of Autism Awareness Month. It was a privilege to author the series, which hopefully will be of continued assistance to lawyers, judges, mediators, and others on the subject of autism. For those who have asked for a list of the specific Law Journal articles in the series, they are as follows:
(1) (April 5, 2019)
How 'Endrew" Can Improve Future Educational Prospects
(Special Education Law);
(2) (April 12, 2019)
Discrimination Against Persons with Autism
(Civil Rights Law);
(3) (April 19, 2019)
Why NJ Must Increase Social Awareness of the Need for Early Diagnosis
(Health Law);
(4) (April 26, 2019)
Separation, Divorce, and a Child with Autism
(Family Law)
These articles are available online, but is requesting a pdf of any single article or the set for educational purposes , please email me I'll be happy to forward on to you.
Best Regards,
Lawrence R. Jones
