    ATTORNEY POSITION AVAILABLE 

    Schultz & Associates, LLC, a boutique, fast-paced, and growing family law firm in Hackensack, New Jersey, is immediately seeking a full time associate attorney to join our team! Attorney will be responsible for all aspects of a client’s case including communicating with clients, drafting pleadings, conducting discovery, preparing for and attending all types of court hearings, including but not limited to motions and trials, as well as preparing for and attending mediations and other conferences.

    Exceptional skills are required, but personality, character, intelligence, and integrity will be paramount considerations. 

    Requirements

    • Excellent writing, verbal, and math skills
    • First-rate organizational skills
    • Impeccable attention to detail
    • High degree of proficiency with MS Word 
    • Knowledge of Excel, computerized calendaring, and task management required
    • Able to manage multiple cases with conflicting deadlines and time pressures
    • Self-starter, quick learner, and solid ability to work independently
    • Demonstrated passion for the practice of law
    • Minimum of 8 -10 or more years experience practicing primarily in family law
    • Licensed to practice law in New Jersey required, New York license a plus
    • Must have a clean record with respect to malpractice judgments or bar grievance determinations.

    Compensation

    Commensurate with experience, skills, and ability. Commission structure and partnership track available.
