Thank you to everyone who responded to me both on-line and off line. The carrier is USAA and I am past the 90 day waiting period. Now all I expect is their letter probably requesting more information, etc.
I hope that this experience is something that none of you have to endure, but if you do know that this resource is available to all of us to post a question and get advice. I, for one, do enjoy reading about the issues that arise and the new caselaw that comes from Trenton--right or wrong. But it does give me the peace of mind in knowing that there is an outlet for a back and forth among attorneys and--hopefully--the ability to get a decision that will stand the test of time.
I thank you all for your input and will take it to heart and hopefully someone in the insurance industry will also hear it!
