  • 1.  Amicus Brief in Trial Court

    Posted 07-14-2013 06:57 PM
I found no court rule prohibiting the filing of an amicus brief in a parental alienation motion in the trial court.  I see that permission is needed in an appeal to file an amicus brief.  Does anyone have any thoughts on whether the filing of an amicus brief is barred in the trial court?  Thank you!!

Yes, you can move to file an amicus brief in the trial court.  See R. 1:13-9.
