    Hello Dispute Resolution Section and Family Law Section members,

    The Annual Meeting is this week and we are very excited to see everyone there! Both the Dispute Resolution and Family Law Sections are sponsoring great programs at the event.

    There is a program coming up in a couple weeks where your fellow section members will be presenting, that we want to let you know about.

    The New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education is presenting Advanced Family Mediation Workshop: Mediating with Difficult People and in Challenging Situations on Monday, June 6 at the New Jersey Law Center in New Brunswick.

    NJ CLE information: This program has been approved by the Board on Continuing Legal Education of the Supreme Court of New Jersey for 4.5 hours of total CLE credit. Of these, 1.0 qualify as hours of credit towards ethics/professionalism and 4.5 qualify as hours of credit toward certification in matrimonial law.

    As a member of the NJSBA, you save 20 percent off the general tuition for the course. The tuition for NJSBA members is $136. The general tuition is $170.

    The ability to effectively manage conflict is a critical skill for matrimonial lawyers. At this 4-hour workshop, a panel of mediators experienced in matrimonial cases will present proven strategies that can help you resolve conflicts between parties in a divorce proceeding.
