Alternative dispute resolution is increasingly becoming the method for resolving disputes either through court attenuated ADR, or separately. As a result, litigators increasingly see the need to refine their knowledge and skill set to be able to effectively represent clients in ADR processes. Mediation advocacy is the technique of advancing a client’s position in a non-adversarial way. This program will provide practitioners and neutrals with the tools essential to more effectively function in the mediation process. Such skills are transferable to arbitration, settlement and negotiating.
The faculty includes: Moderator/Speaker: Bonnie Goldsamt; Keynote Speaker: Dwight Golann; Speakers: Jeralyn Lawrence, Anna-Maria Pitella, Jennifer Brandt, Sheryl Goski, Robert Lenrow, Robert Margulies, Marvin Schuldiner, Richard Steen, Barbara Wecker, Barbara Weisman, Andrew Smith, Gina Calogero, Jeffrey Gradone, Jeffrey Mazzola, Nicholas Stevens, Donald Steckroth, Randall Brett, Corrie Sirkin and Terri Reicher.
