Anyone know how to add a co-guardian to a guardianship? Does it have to be a new application, or can it be my motion with an addendum to the existing papers? Morris county.
    Thanks in advance!

Yes - I filed a motion to amend the Judgment of Legal Incapacity to appoint ___ as co-guardian with current guardian, ______. I included a Certification by the current guardian and Certification by petitioning co-guardian.  This was in Hudson County.

In most counties you need a new complaint on order to show cause
As the prior incap matter is closed.

I agree with Deb but I would give the Surrogate a call to discuss.
