The Family Law Section is hosting its Holiday Party Dec. 7 and today is the day to donate for the silent auction that will raise funds for Womanspace, a leading nonprofit agency in New Jersey that provides a comprehensive array of services to individuals and families impacted by domestic and sexual violence and dedicated to improving the quality of life for adults and their families. On Dec. 12 Webcast- The Depp v. Heard Trial as a Case Study in Domestic Violence brings together a distinguished panel for a roundtable discussion on the domestic violence legal and social issues from the "Trial of the Year." A mix of Judges, practitioners, and domestic violence experts will delve into the various takeaways from the highly publicized trial that had everyone tuning in like it was one of the movies the parties act in. On Dec. 17 the NJICLE Webcast- A Day on Family Law will provide you with a thorough review of family law and practice procedures, as well as a solid foundation for counseling clients on matrimonial matters. Attendees can earn 5.7 NJ CLE credits.
Looking ahead, the 2023 Women's Leadership Conference is scheduled for Feb. 20. It is a day that will motivate and inspire all attorneys. On President's Day, it is only fitting to come together for a study in what it means to be a leader and how attorneys can obtain those skills to serve themselves, their clients, their practice and their communities. This year's Women's Leadership Conference brings together an Olympic Gold Medalist, Supreme Court justices, noted jurists and groundbreaking thought leaders for a day of insightful conversations, inspirational stories and motivating guidance from women who have reached the pinnacle of their careers. It is virtual and in-person and will be absolutely exceptional.
