The Immigration Law Section deals with the intersection between United States immigration laws and other areas of law including but not limited to family, criminal, municipal court, civil, labor and real estate. The goals of the Immigration Law Section are to facilitate and open a dialogue between New Jersey practitioners seeking to hone their immigration law skills and for new attorneys seeking to learn about this complex area of law for the benefit of their clients, and the overall practice of immigration law in New Jersey. Lastly, the Section seeks to move forward fair and just legislation that touches upon and directly impacts the lives of New Jersey immigrants and the practice of immigration law.
