A number of you helped out with an Appellate Brief about 14 months ago, on the issue of modifying or revisiting the
Palombi
decision that permits judges to more easily dispense with oral argument in Family matters. I received the decision today (paternity fraud, Lepis, other issues):
http://www.dpdlaw.com/mgvmm.pdf
As they reversed on other grounds, the App Div didn't feel it was necessary to address the oral argument / Palombi issue. They dismissed it in one paragraph - "Lastly, the final contention seeking our review of Palombi, supra, lacks sufficient merit to warrant discussion in this opinion. R. 2:11-3(e)(1)(E)."
Thanks again for the help back then --
Palombi
will eventually go, but this wasn't the case to make it happen.
