NJSBA Real Property, Trust and Estate Law Section honors two at annual dinner

The New Jersey State Bar Association honored two exceptional attorneys at the Real Property, Trust and Estate Law Section’s annual dinner on Jan. 18.

The awards recognize extraordinary contributions to the development of property, trust and estate law in New Jersey and service to the Section, the largest in the NJSBA.

Brad Batcha received the Arthur S. Horn Distinguished Service Award. As a partner with Batch & Batcha in Shrewsbury, he concentrates his practice in real estate transactions with a sub-specialty in waterfront properties and properties located in flood zones. Batcha is the former Chair of the RPTE Section and has lectured extensively on real estate law throughout the state.

Anita J. Siegel earned the Dorothy G. Black Distinguished Service Award. She serves as a managing member of Siegel & Bergman LLC, a boutique law firm in Morristown that specializes in estate planning, estate administration, gift and estate tax, charitable planning, closely held business planning and related real estate. Siegel has participated on NJICLE panels ranging from ethics for transitional attorneys to forums on semi-annual tax and estate planning.
