New Jersey State Bar Association President Jeralyn L. Lawrence has made it a priority of her term to pursue an initiative of “Putting Lawyers First.” To that end, she has established the Putting Lawyers First Task Force, which is gathering information concerning our ethics system and fee arbitration system.
The Task Force seeks information from NJSBA members regarding both: (i) positive experiences with either system; and/or (ii) areas in which either system may need improvement. If you have had any involvement with either system (i.e. as a respondent, investigator, attorney for respondent, or in any other manner) the Task Force would like to hear from you.
