Law firms are often magnets for paper files that can accumulate and overwhelm practices if not managed properly. For those struggling with a paper problem, the New Jersey State Bar Association will host a webinar on Oct. 3 about the essentials of document management and retention.
Though it’s not uncommon for firms to keep hundreds, sometimes thousands of boxes with assorted documents, many practices are shifting toward paperless office environments for efficiency purposes and to save money on storage.
Jeff Krause, of Affinity Consulting, will lead the webinar and offer a common-sense and economical approach on how to store files, when to dispose of them and how to convert paper to digital.
