As fighting continues to intensify in Ukraine, New Jersey lawyers took the opportunity to learn more about the region and what the profession can do to help.
“For us to educate ourselves more deeply about this crisis is important,” said Raymond M. Brown, who moderated “Inside the Ukrainian Crisis and What Lawyers Can Do” at the NJSBA Annual Meeting and Convention in Atlantic City.
Brown was joined for the discussion by attorney Alona Magidova, who was born in Ukraine, and Tod Lindberg, a senior fellow at the Hudson Institute.
The people of the country has always maintained a strong identity, said Magidova. “They were always different people.”
