Criminal Law Section seeks nominees for inaugural award
The NJSBA Criminal Law Section is seeking candidates for the 2022 CLS Annual Award. The award will recognize an individual who is a past or present member of the section and has made a major contribution or service to the field of criminal law. There is a particular emphasis for work performed in the past year.

Make plans today to attend NJSBF Law and Disability Conference
The New Jersey State Bar Foundation will hold its Law and Disability Conference next month. This year’s event will be a hybrid program, and speakers and attendees can participate in-person or remotely. The event, cosponsored by the Community Health Law Project, will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on May 5.
This year’s agenda will examine providing integrated and holistic care through partnerships, services available to individuals with physical and intellectual or developmental disabilities, and jail diversion programs for individuals with mental illness.

Nominations sought for 2022 Municipal Court Practice Award
The NJSBA Municipal Court Practice Section requests nominations for its annual Municipal Court Practice Award. Nominations may be for a New Jersey lawyer, prosecutor or retired judge in good standing who has evidenced public service, dedication, commitment and leadership in the field.
