The New Jersey State Bar Association is excited to announce that planning is underway for the 2022 Annual Meeting and Convention, and it is now accepting proposals for educational sessions

The Association plans to be back in-person at the Borgata Hotel, Casino & Spa in Atlantic City this coming May 18-20 for the year’s premiere event for New Jersey attorneys. As always, we want you to be part of it. Submit a program proposal today.

Please follow the directions below to submit program proposals. The deadline to submit programs for consideration is Tuesday, Dec. 14.

Here is where to go to submit a program.

Here are the top three considerations to keep in mind:

  • Program proposals must include the topic/title, a brief description, a list of proposed speakers and the name of the section or committee that is sponsoring the program. NOTE: Not every program proposal that is submitted will be accepted. The Meetings Arrangements and Programming Committee reserves the right to modify or reject proposals that do not meet the enhanced educational objectives for the 2022 Annual Meeting. Every effort will be made to incorporate program ideas, however there may be instances where speakers or related topics may be added to an existing panel, all with the aim of ensuring the most successful panels possible.
  • The Association is committed to fostering diversity and inclusion and the Meeting Arrangements and Program Committee will look for panels advancing this initiative. When you submit the proposal, you will be asked how your proposed program panel reflects this concept. Click here to review the NJSBA’s Statement of Diversity and Inclusion.
  • The NJSBA asks that every effort be made to showcase NJSBA members on panels. Many of our members are experts in their fields and are delighted to participate as speakers.

The NJSBA’s New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education and the Member Engagement Department can assist in identifying potential speakers, if needed. Please contact Lisa Spiegel at [email protected] or Paula Saha at [email protected] for help.

The NJSBA will be in touch every step along the way to ensure a seamless operation. We look forward to working with you to develop a successful and meaningful event and a celebration of our return to the in-person Annual Meeting.
