Hot Tips from NJSBA’s PracticeHQ
Rather than painstakingly reading every word of a document to find changes that a colleague sent back to you, make use of Word and Acrobat’s compare functions. You have to compare “like things”, meaning Word to Word and PDF to PDF. For Word, instructions are here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/compare-and-merge-two-versions-of-a-document-f5059749-a797-4db7-a8fb-b3b27eb8b87e. And for Adobe Acrobat here: https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/using/compare-documents.html. Never print and do it by hand again!
