The New Jersey State Bar Foundation believes that “informed citizens are better citizens” and promotes civic engagement for students of all ages through its many civics-related programs and publications.

Thanks to caring friends like YOU, thousands of New Jersey students, educators, and members of the public have gained new skills and information through the programs we provide and the charities we fund.

Following are examples of how the Foundation serves the public:

• 212,439 publications distributed
• 9,700 citizens served by 162 volunteer attorneys through our Speakers Bureau
• 8,100 students and teachers participated in mock trial
• 2,391 educators trained through virtual workshops and webinars
• 30 nonprofit organizations given Cosponsorship or Law Day grants
• 13 law school students received scholarships

You can make a significant, tangible difference in our communities by supporting the Foundation and its mission to provide valuable programs that create “better informed citizens.”
