Association Launches PracticeHQ, Practice Management Information Free to All Members
The New Jersey State Bar Association is all about listening to our members and helping make their lives easier.
We just launched an exclusive new practice management tool just for our members, called PracticeHQ. It’s a free benefit for NJSBA members.
This is a one-stop expert resource center for NJSBA members to get support in how to best run their practice. To create PracticeHQ, the NJSBA teamed up with Affinity Consulting, a nationally recognized practice management consulting company.
The latest episode of NJSBA Sidebar features a conversation with Jeff Schoenberger, an attorney and consultant with Affinity Consulting.
Tune in to learn more about how members can connect with the experts to solve their law practice problems and find out what the PracticeHQ library has to offer.
PracticeHQ includes:
• Checklists comparing office products such as the types of computers and software programs available;
• Whitepapers on everything from client development to human resources issues;
• Webinars on the practice of law, succession and disaster preparedness. The first one is coming soon, titled “The Complete Practice - Bringing Strength and Efficiency to All Areas of Your Firm;”
• Articles about technology, documents, accounting skills and other topics; and
• A resource bank that has information including training manuals, how to launch a firm, trust account review, and productivity and profitability assessments.
FREE CONSULTATIONS
A special feature of PracticeHQ is that it offers members one-on-one consultations to troubleshoot practice-related challenges.
Members can have an email or phone/video call with a consultant who can help you resolve issues with document management; client development; using technology effectively and opening and closing a firm.
If you send an inquiry via email, one of Affinity’s trained consultants will respond within 48 hours.
To set up a phone/video consultation, it's easy to sign up for a 30-minute session with a consultant. To make the most of it, be prepared to answer a few quick questions, such as whether your inquiry may relate to Apple or PC/Microsoft systems or what topic area you need help with.
We will also be holding twice yearly in-person consultations – the first round will be at the Annual Meeting and Convention in Atlantic City and the second will be in the fall.
