Foundation seeks Medal of Honor candidates

The New Jersey State Bar Foundation is soliciting nominations for its 2018 Medal of Honor awards.

Awards are presented annually to lawyers, law-related professionals, as well as lay people, who have made significant contributions to the advancement or improvement of the justice system or the betterment of the legal profession in New Jersey. Nominees should be characterized by professional excellence and service to the profession and the community.

Previous recipients include New Jersey Supreme Court justices, judges, lawyers, law professors and others who have worked to improve the justice system and profession. To see a full list of past honorees, click here.

The deadline for nominations is Wednesday, Feb. 28. The foundation is the educational and philanthropic arm of the New Jersey State Bar Association.

Awards will be presented at the New Jersey State Bar Foundation's Gala 60th Anniversary Dinner on Monday, Sept. 17, at The Palace at Somerset Park.
