  • 1.  1990s "Appraisal" price for house

    Can someone suggest a method/methods for determining the value of a marital home on/near a date of marriage that was back in the 90s?  Thank you.

    Licensed real estate appraisers can do this. It's bit more legwork for them but it certainly can be done.  I have had to retain appraisers to do this before.

    Agree;  Have done it recently; caveat: not just any licensed real estate appraiser. may be bit more expensive, but get referral for one who has testified, in event it may become necessary.

    Contact a licensed Appraiser. In this way, the appraiser can come to Court if necessary.  I use Eagle Appraisals, Inc. for residential appraisals.

    Whoever you choose, interview them.  Get their CV, don't take our word and speak to only one.
