DESCRIPTION: The January 2014 meeting of the Criminal Law Section will feature Elie Honig, Director of the New Jersey Division of Criminal Justice. Director Honig will address recent developments in criminal law and practice, including plea bargaining, speedy trial, and discovery. In particular, he will discuss the impact of proposed rule changes and new prosecutorial practices in these areas, with a focus on what attorneys should know moving forward to best serve their clients
