On Saturday, October 13th, as part of the NJSBA Mid-Year Meeting, October 10th through the 14th, at the Encore/Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas, I have the honor of moderating a panel of distinguished speakers, who will address the topic of  PROSECUTORIAL MISCONDUCT - On Purpose and by Mistake or Negligence.  The panel will be held from 9:00 AM through 10:15 AM, in the Brams 3 Room.
The distinguished panel will include the Hon. Patricia K. Costello, A.J.S.C. (Essex County), Bergen County Prosecutor John L. Molinelli, Morris County Prosecutor Robert A. Bianchi, and NJ State Bar President Kevin P. McCann, Esq.
Among the issues being discussed will be St. v. Hogan and St. v. Murphy, including Grand Jury Exculpatory Evidence and Grand Jury Voir Dire; pre and post-indictment discovery, Brady v. Maryland, Giglio v. United States, potential errors during the "heat of trial" (including openings & summations), and the recent ACLU article, which appeared in the Newark Star-Ledger and other newspapers.
This promises to be a most interesting and informative panel, from which you will hear the viewpoints of a member of the judiciary, two County Prosecutors and two members of the defense bar.
If you have registered for the NJSBA Mid-Year Meeting in Las Vegas, Wednesday, October 10th through Sunday, October 14th, make it a point to attend this panel.  If you have not yet registered, there is still time to attend this great event in Las Vegas.
I hope to see you all there.
         Bob
