I received a call from Greg Acquaviva, Esq. of the Governor's office to tell me that the Governor had signed New Jersey's version of the Revised Uniform Limited Liability Company Act (RULLCA). I am a director of the Business Law Section and co-chair of the Business Entities Committee that spent five years working on this project.
This law will update our statute, which is sorely required, and help New Jersey re-establish its reputation as a good state in which to do business.
