Each year, GSE's biggest source of support is its Equality Walk.
This support keeps GSE strong and ensures it is able to fight for every
member of the LGBT community. GSE had a great year in 2013 when we
helped achieved marriage equality, but there is still much to do. You
can check out some of our more recent victories here- Garden State Equality. We have excellent laws in the Garden State but we need to make sure that we're actually living equality.
Thus, this
year's theme, "Stepping Towards Equality" reflects an emphasis on
strengthening our recent wins in anti-bullying and marriage equality
while continuing to push for protections for LGBT youth, seniors and the
transgender community.

The DAY: Saturday, June 20th
The TIME: 10:00 am
The PLACE: Kennedy Park in Asbury Park **Please note the change in location from last year!
The walk is roughly 2 mile circle through Asbury Park across the boardwalk and back.
