SOCIAL AND EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE:
What You Need to Succeed In Today's Legal and Business World
What
exactly is social and emotional intelligence? The concept referred to
as EI (or EQ), is one many business leaders firmly believe is more
important than traditional IQ when it comes to business and career
success. In this power-packed presentation
participants will learn
what EQ is, and how it is assessed and measured. They will also learn
what can be learned or gleaned from such an assessment, and how
information can be leveraged to improve the bottom line of an attorney’s
practice, their career development, or their leadership and management
skills.
Attendees will learn about the four-quadrant model of
social and emotional intelligence and the 26 core competencies
associated with the model that determine how we manage ourselves.
Research has demonstrated that people with strong social and emotional
intelligence are healthier, have more satisfying marriages, and even
earn more over their lifetimes.
