It's that time of year again! In celebration of humanity's only home, NJSBA's Young Lawyers Division is hosting an Earth Day hike and picnic at the beautiful Sourland Mountain Preserve in Hillsborough, NJ. Come get some fresh air and exercise and network with colleagues in a very informal setting.
Event will be on Sunday, April 30, 2017 (rain date TBD). We'll meet in the parking lot around 11AM, go for a 1 - 2 hour hike, and then have a picnic near a lake. In celebration of Earth Day, we'll have a short presentation at the start of the hike on sustainability and making everyday choices that help the environment.
For the picnic, YLD will provide sandwiches, chips and water, and possibly other accoutrements. Attendees are welcome to bring food too, although it's not required. As the name implies, Sourland Mountain Preserve is pretty hilly, and the hike will be steep at times, so attendees should wear sturdy shoes and be reasonably fit.
Spouses and significant others welcome, but no kids or dogs (sorry). Space is limited, so please RSVP by emailing me at [email protected] with "YLD Hike" in the subject, and let me know if you want to bring anyone.
