Commercial/business law cases have been impacted by technology, the economy, relationships between parties and more. This year’s roundtable will focus on four subject areas that are currently shaping business litigation practice.

Dive directly into thought-provoking discussions on business litigation’s hottest
issues, including:
Who’s my client? - Includes issues that may arise when an employee misidentifies a
corporation’s attorney as their own lawyer
Shareholder disputes – includes setting up a strong agreement, challenges when dealing
with children of owners, the latest on the Revised Uniform Limited Liability Company Act’s
protection of minority shareholders
Trade secrets - damages, injunctive relief, preemption and more
Conflicts - the perils of representing both a company and its employees in a suit including
a discussion of respondeat superior and when that doctrine doesn’t apply
Witness Preparation - strategies for effective preparation of the deposition witness.
Includes a discussion of different tactics for fact and expert witnesses and net opinions
Ethical Considerations - privileged communications, ethical issues involving technology
  ..and much more!

What past attendees had to say about the program:
“...it was honestly the most interesting and well put together NJICLE seminar I have attended to date. The topics were current, the presenters were well-versed and the thought provoking questions you and others posed, I believe, kept everyone focused and on-point. I will be looking
out for next year’s presentation.”- Frances E. Barto, Esq.
